Terms of Use

The ground rules for your kitchen companion.

Effective November 2, 2026 · Last updated November 2, 2026

Operator and scope

These Terms govern your use of Table for Two and tablefortwo.fyi, operated by Wilson Matsuo (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact support@tablefortwo.fyi with questions. By using the service, you agree to these Terms to the extent a binding agreement can be formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. App Store distribution and the installed application are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and standard application license. These Terms supplement those rules for our service; they do not replace Apple’s license or reduce mandatory consumer rights.

Eligibility and your account

The service is not intended for children under 13. You must meet any higher age or consent requirement that applies where you live. If you are not old enough to enter an agreement, use requires the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian who is responsible for that use, where legally allowed.

Provide accurate account information and protect access to your devices and sign-in accounts. Guest access can still create backend records and is not a guarantee of permanent storage. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for managing who can join your kitchen. Notify us of suspected unauthorized use.

The service and acceptable use

Table for Two helps you collect recipes, plan meals, maintain shopping lists, cook with steps and timers, and use related features. Some features require a compatible device, network access, permissions, a linked service, or a paid plan.

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe rights, harass people, upload unlawful or harmful content, expose someone else’s private information without permission, bypass account or usage restrictions, resell access without permission, interfere with security, or generate abusive automated traffic. We may investigate misuse, limit requests, restrict accounts, or remove content when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service or comply with law.

Your content and sharing

You keep the rights you have in your recipes, photos, notes, and other content. You give us a limited, nonexclusive permission to store, copy, process, transform, display, and transmit that content to operate the service and the features you use, including syncing, household sharing, importing, AI processing, and share links. This permission is limited to those purposes and applicable retention obligations; it does not transfer ownership to us.

Only import, upload, or share content you have permission to use. A recipe’s instructions, photos, and accompanying text can belong to someone else. Importing a recipe does not give you copyright ownership or permission to republish it.

Kitchen members may see and modify shared content. Accessible recipe and cookbook links can be forwarded, and recipients may save copies. You are responsible for checking your audience. Removing content or a link cannot recall copies other people have already made. Contact support to report content or rights concerns, identifying the specific material and why you believe it is problematic.

AI, nutrition, allergies, and food safety

AI output, extracted recipes, generated images, ingredient substitutions, nutrition values, unit conversions, cooking times, and grocery estimates can contain errors or omissions. Generated food images are illustrations and do not guarantee what a recipe will look like. Review outputs before saving, sharing, cooking, purchasing, or writing nutrition to Apple Health.

The app does not provide medical, nutritional treatment, allergy testing, or professional food-safety advice. Do not rely on it to determine whether food is safe for an allergy or medical condition. Check ingredient labels, cross-contact risks, quantities, temperatures, and doneness yourself; obtain professional advice when needed. Use safe cooking practices and an appropriate food thermometer. Timers and notifications can be affected by device settings and are not safety guarantees.

Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable rights relating to personal injury or unsafe services.

Subscriptions and purchases

Where offered, Family Plus is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple. Available plans, price, billing period, introductory offers, and eligibility are shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation. The confirmed offer controls; website descriptions do not promise a particular price or free trial.

Subscriptions renew unless canceled as described in the purchase terms. You can manage or cancel through Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app or your Table for Two account does not automatically cancel Apple billing. Apple administers purchase and refund requests under its policies and applicable law. See Subscription Details for management, restoration, household coverage, and cancellation information.

Third-party services and availability

Apple, Google, RevenueCat, AI and content providers, Kroger, Amazon, and other linked services have their own terms and privacy practices. Features depending on them may change, be unavailable in some regions, or require separate permission. We do not control third-party websites or guarantee grocery availability, prices, or third-party content.

We may improve, change, or discontinue features and apply reasonable usage limits. Paid access remains subject to the purchase terms and any remedies required by law; we will provide notice when required. Keep copies of important recipes and information rather than relying on the app as your only archive.

Ending use and deleting an account

You can stop using the service and request account deletion through the app. Account Deletion explains what happens to your profile, shared kitchen, Apple Health entries, and subscriptions. We may suspend or end access for serious misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or a material breach, with notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue where reasonable and lawful. Contact support if you think a restriction is a mistake.

Information handling after deletion is governed by the Privacy Policy, including shared content, operational records, and eligible inactive-account cleanup.

Service limitations and your rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free outputs, perfect syncing, or compatibility with every device or external service. Applicable warranties and liability rules for the installed app are also addressed by Apple’s standard license.

To the extent legally permitted, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from service interruptions or reliance on inaccurate third-party or AI output. These limitations do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot be limited by law, including mandatory consumer guarantees, fraud, willful misconduct, or applicable liability for death or personal injury. If a limitation is not allowed where you live, it does not apply to you.

Changes, disputes, and contact

We may revise these Terms as the service changes. We will update the date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes do not retroactively remove rights that have already arisen. If a new agreement or consent is required, we will request it.

Please contact us first about a concern so we can try to resolve it. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive access to courts, local consumer protections, or rights you have under applicable law. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remainder applies to the extent lawful.
